of <h1>India Allocates 8,000 Metric Tons of Raw Sugar for 2004 Export to USA via Indian Sugar Exim Corp Ltd.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has allocated 8,000 metric tons of raw sugar from the 2003-04 freesale quota for export as Preferential Raw Cane Sugar to the USA for the fiscal year 2004. This quantity is to be managed and exported exclusively by the Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd., New Delhi. The existing procedures for obtaining GSP certificates and other necessary certifications for exporting sugar to the USA will remain in effect. This decision has been approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
