of <h1>DGFT Clarifies DEPB Benefits for Engineering Products: Removes Remedial Action Requirement for MS Galvanized Sheets/Strips, Sl.No. 91.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has issued a clarification regarding the admissibility of Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB) benefits for exports under the Engineering Product Group. Amendments have been made to Policy Circular No. 19 (RE-00)/2000-2001, effective from July 28, 2000. The amendment deletes the requirement for remedial action in cases where DEPB benefits were granted for 'MS Galvanized Sheets/Strips' under entry Sl.No. 91. This clarification has been approved by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
