of <h1>India Allocates 8,500 Metric Tons of Raw Sugar for Export to USA Under 2003 Preferential Tariff Quota.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has allocated 8,500 metric tons of raw sugar from the 2002-2003 free sale quota for export to the USA under a Preferential Raw Cane Sugar Tariff Rate Quota for the fiscal year 2003. This quantity is designated for export by the Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd., New Delhi, which is the sole authorized agency for this purpose. The existing procedures for obtaining GSP Certificates and other necessary certifications for sugar export to the USA will remain in effect. This directive has been approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
