of <h1>India Allocates 10,000 Metric Tons of Raw Cane Sugar for EU Export Under SPS Quota for 2002.</h1> The Government of India, through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, has allocated 10,000 metric tons of raw cane sugar for export to the European Union under the Special Preferential Sugar (SPS) quota for the fiscal year 2002. The Indian Sugar EXIM Corporation Ltd. is designated as the sole authorized agency for this export. The export must comply with the European Commission Regulation No. 2513/2001, which requires specific endorsements for preferential sugar exports. This decision is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
