Meters Fabric, 25 Units Other Articles.</h1> The circular issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade outlines exemptions for the import conditions of textile and textile articles as per a previous notification. These exemptions apply to items imported as samples, not for human consumption. Conditions for exemption include a maximum consignment size of 100 square meters for fabric and 25 units for other articles, samples provided free of cost, indelible marking as 'sample not for sale,' and an importer's undertaking to customs that the samples will not be used for human consumption. This decision is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
