The Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued a circular providing clarifications on the classification of various products under the ITC(HS) Classifications of Exports and Imports Items for 1997-2002. This was in response to requests for guidance on specific items. The circular lists items such as Monoethylenic Hydrocarbon, Calcium Ammonium Nitrate, and GPS Geodetic Receiver, among others, with their respective EXIM codes. It also notes conditions and changes to previous classifications, such as those for agglomerates of thermoplastic materials. The document was approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
