Extension of export shipment deadline for onion NOCs permits delayed shipments to proceed due to port strike disruptions. Shipments of all varieties of onion against NOCs issued by canalising agencies on or before 31 January 2000 are permitted until 15 February 2000, as an authorised extension responding to port and dock workers' strike disruptions, under the quantitative ceiling allocation established by Notification No. 37(RE-99) / 1997-2000.
