of <h1>Customs and Ports/Airports to Sync Holidays for Seamless Trade; Initiative from Export Promotion Board Meetings.</h1> The circular addresses the need for synchronization of holidays between Ports/Airports and the Customs Authority to ensure smooth trade operations. This issue was initially discussed in the 22nd Export Promotion Board meeting in 1999 and reiterated in the 42nd meeting in 2004. The Export Promotion Board has requested that holidays be coordinated with Ports/Airports Authorities or Custodians to facilitate uninterrupted trade flow. The circular was published in newspapers and on the CBEC website, and feedback received was considered. A Hindi version of the circular will be provided.
