of <h1>Inland Container Depot Desur Now Under Belgaum Central Excise Control; Aligns with Notification No. 89/2004-Cus.</h1> The administrative control of the Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Desur, District Belgaum, has been shifted from the Commissionerate of Customs, Mangalore to the Commissionerate of Central Excise, Belgaum. This decision was made due to the significant distance between Mangalore and Belgaum, approximately 400 km. The change is in accordance with Notification No. 89/2004-Cus., dated July 21, 2004, under the Customs Act, 1962. The previous circular, No. 33/2003-Cus., is modified accordingly. All relevant parties are instructed to comply with these changes.
