of <h1>Central Board of Excise & Customs rescinds outdated circular on currency import via post; new guidelines in place.</h1> The Central Board of Excise & Customs has rescinded Circular No. 23/2002-Cus., dated 26.4.2002, concerning the import of currency through post, as it has been deemed superfluous following the issuance of a more comprehensive Circular No. 16/2002-Cus., dated 5.3.2002. Relevant authorities are instructed to inform all concerned parties through public notices or standing orders. Any implementation difficulties should be reported to the Board.
