of <h1>Ministry of Finance clarifies no value caps on drug formulations under Sr. No. 40, effective November 2, 2001.</h1> The circular issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, clarifies that value caps do not apply to drug formulations listed under Sr. No. 40 of the DEPB Rate List (Appendix 28A) for the Chemical & Allied Product Group. This decision follows a DEPB Committee meeting on November 2, 2001, and aligns with Public Notice No. 50 issued by DGFT on November 13, 2001. The modifications to the DEPB rates are effective from November 2, 2001, and apply to exports made before this date. The circular instructs trade and field officers to disseminate this information and requests acknowledgment of receipt.
