Concerns have been raised about the difficulty in verifying the material type through visual examination alone, leading to delays in consignment processing and unresolved drawback claims. To address these issues, the Ministry has proposed forming Expert Panels comprising textile experts from the Department and the Export Promotion Council to ensure accurate and efficient examination and resolution of doubtful cases.
