of <h1>New Finance Circular: Updated Procedures for DEPB Scheme Imports at Bonded Warehouses Using TRA Procedure.</h1> The circular from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, addresses the procedures for permitting imports under the DEPB Scheme at customs bonded warehouses using the TRA procedure. It supersedes previous circulars and allows clearances from bonded warehouses by debiting DEPB scrips within the jurisdiction of a Commissioner of Customs. The DEPB scrip must be registered at a customs station under the same jurisdiction or another station issuing a TRA. The TRA will provide details of goods, DEPB specifics, and instructions for customs staff, including sample testing if necessary. The jurisdictional Commissioner will maintain import details in a register.
