The DGFT, under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, amends earlier public notices to postpone the effective commencement of the bar-coding requirement previously prescribed, thereby deferring the obligation on exporters to affix barcodes on primary packaging for tracing and tracking purposes.
