Revised SOFTEX certification and reporting extended to all SEZs/EPZs/100% EOUs and DTA; large exporters allowed consolidated Excel filing
Revised SOFTEX procedure is extended to all SEZs, EPZs, 100% EOUs and DTA with immediate effect, making the revised certification and reporting regime applicable at those units. Exporters of software with annual turnover of at least Rs.1000 crore or who file at least 600 SOFTEX forms annually on an all-India basis are permitted to submit statements in the revised Excel format specified in Annexures A & B, thereby enabling electronic consolidated filing; exporters not meeting these thresholds remain subject to existing SOFTEX submission requirements. All other operational terms of the earlier revised STPI procedure remain unchanged.
