of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Amendment: Cost Accountants Now Included with Chartered Accountants for Export Certifications.</h1> The public notice issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade amends the Handbook of Procedure Vol. I and Appendices under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014. It states that wherever the term 'Chartered Accountant' appears, it will now include 'Cost Accountant' as well. Similarly, 'FCA' will include 'FCMA,' and 'CA Number' will be replaced by 'Membership Number.' This amendment allows exporters to obtain necessary certifications from Cost Accountants in addition to Chartered Accountants under the EXIM Policy and Procedure.
