of <h1>New e-BRC System Mandates Electronic Submission for Exporters Under Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14, Streamlining BRC Process.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has introduced an electronic Bank Realization Certificate (e-BRC) system to streamline the process of obtaining and submitting BRCs for exporters claiming benefits under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14. Previously, exporters submitted physical BRCs, but the new system requires banks to issue and transmit BRCs electronically to the DGFT server. Both systems will operate concurrently for one month to ensure a smooth transition, after which electronic submission will be mandatory. This change aims to reduce transaction costs and processing time for exporters.
