of <h1>DGFT Launches Online System for SCOMET Export License Applications; Mandatory from July 2012, Replacing Paper Submissions.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has introduced an online filing system for the Aayat Niryat Form 2E (ANF 2E), which is used to apply for a Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment, and Technologies (SCOMET) export license. This move aims to reduce processing time and costs for exporters. The online application process will become mandatory from July 1, 2012, replacing paper submissions. Detailed guidelines and a step-by-step guide for the online application are available on the DGFT website. Exporters can contact designated officials for assistance and are encouraged to provide feedback on the new system.
