of <h1>DGFT Urges Export Councils to Register RCMC Data Online by Oct 31; Manual Submissions End Nov 1, 2011.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has initiated an online facility for uploading Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) data since August 2010 to reduce transaction costs for exporters. Despite previous communications, many Export Promotion Councils, Commodity Boards, and Authorities have not yet registered or uploaded their RCMC data. These organizations are urged to contact the designated official with necessary documents to complete registration and data uploading by October 31, 2011. Failure to comply will result in mandatory online registration from November 1, 2011, and manual RCMC submissions will no longer be accepted.
