of <h1>Deadline Extended for Cotton Export Documents to July 22, 2011, Due to Strikes and Holidays.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has extended the deadline for document submission, scrutiny, and issuance of registration certificates for the export of cotton (ITC HS Code 5201 or 5203) from 1500 hrs on July 15, 2011, to 1500 hrs on July 22, 2011. This extension, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14, was granted due to disruptions caused by strikes and holidays in Bangladesh and work interruptions in Mumbai. There are no other changes to the original Public Notice No. 55(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated June 17, 2011, and the final export date remains September 15, 2011.
