The Supreme Court of India in 2019 (3) TMI 1995 condoned delay in a preventive detention case where the respondent was at large for over six months out of a one-year detention period. The Court did not entertain the special leave petition and clarified that the judgment would not set a legal precedent. The petition was disposed of along with pending applications.
