A72 (SC) DEPB Scrips obtained by producing forged documents were cancelled - the decision in the case of FRIENDS TRADING CO. Versus UNION OF INDIA [2008 (10) TMI 344 - PUNJAB & HARYANA HIGH COURT] contested, where it was held that documents being forged, the appellant could not be allowed to take advantage of exemption - Held that: - the decision in the above case upheld - present appeal dismissed - decided against appellant. The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal in the case with citation 2009 (4) TMI 912 - SC. Justices S.H. Kapadia and Aftab Alam delivered the order.
