Excise duty rate reduction under section 11AA lowers the applicable Central Excise rate pursuant to a legislative amendment. Amendment reduces the excise duty rate under section 11AA of the Central Excise Act by substituting the earlier specified percentage in subsection (1) with ten per cent.
