Dividend income exemption expanded to include dividends and specified mutual fund and UTI unit income excluding transfers. Amendment adds three clauses: dividends from any Indian company; income from units of the Unit Trust of India other than income arising from transfer of such units; and income from units of a Mutual Fund specified under clause (23D) of section 10 other than income arising from transfer of such units.
