Finance Act 2008 short title and commencement: sections 2-67 deemed effective from 1 April 2008. The Act is titled the Finance Act, 2008 and, save as otherwise provided, sections 2 to 67 are deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2008, establishing the operative commencement date for those provisions.
