Presentment for payment: require presenting negotiable instruments at the maker's, drawee's or acceptor's business or residence. Where a promissory note or bill of exchange lacks a specified place of payment, presentment must be made at the place of business, if any, or otherwise at the usual residence of the maker, drawee or acceptor, as applicable, thereby designating those persons' business or residence as the appropriate locus for demand of payment.
