<h1>Competition Act 2002: Commission Meetings Require Quorum of Three, Decisions by Majority Vote, Recent Amendments Noted</h1> The Commission under the Competition Act, 2002, is required to meet at specified times and places, following procedural rules set by regulations. If the Chairperson cannot attend, the seniormost Member present presides over the meeting. Decisions are made by a majority vote of the Members present, with a quorum of three Members necessary for the meeting. Previous provisions about Benches and casting votes have been amended or omitted by subsequent legislative changes in 2007 and 2023, respectively.
