Unauthorized mixing of bailed goods entitles the bailor to compensation by the bailee when separation is impossible. If a bailee, without the bailor's consent, mixes the bailor's goods with his own goods so that the goods cannot be separated and delivered back, the bailor is entitled to be compensated by the bailee for the loss of the goods.
