          <h1>Consolidated application for unit approval centralises clearance requests and triggers Approval Committee consideration on a fixed schedule.</h1> A consolidated application in Form F filed with the Development Commissioner (and copied to the Developer) must seek permission for setting up a unit in a Special Economic Zone and obtain multiple clearances - including land/shed allotment, Importer Exporter Code allocation, water and power connections, registration certificates, factory inspector approval, pollution control clearance, building plan approval and GST registration. The Development Commissioner must scrutinise proposals and place them before the Approval Committee, which meets fortnightly, and refer certain proposals to the Board for consideration.
