Recovery of irregular payments: government may reclaim improperly paid interest or other sums from future payments or as arrears.

Any amount paid as interest or otherwise contrary to the rules must be refunded to the Government immediately; failing refund, the Government may recover the amount from any money payable by the Government to the person or by treating it as an arrear of land revenue.
