Global depositary receipts eligibility for IT companies permits offering to resident and non resident permanent employees under government conditions.

Indian Information Technology Software and Information Technology Services companies are eligible to offer global depositary receipts to non-resident and resident permanent employees, including Indian and overseas working directors, against the issue of ordinary shares under the depositary receipt mechanism, subject to operational guidelines and conditions issued by the Government that govern eligibility, issuance and procedural requirements.
