Detention location: defaulter may be detained in the civil prison of the district or in State-appointed accommodation. A person against whom a detention order under the certificate proceedings may be detained in the civil prison of the district where the Tax Recovery Officer's office is situate, or, if that prison does not afford suitable accommodation, in any other place which the State Government appoints for detention of persons ordered by the civil courts of that district to be detained.
