Undisbursed wages and dues: deposit custody, public notice, claimant hearing, and release to nominee or lawful claimant. Undisbursed wages or other dues are to remain with the concerned Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) and be invested in Government securities or placed in a fixed deposit with a scheduled bank. Notice of the deposit must be published for at least fifteen days on the notice board and in local vernacular newspapers in the wage area and the employee's permanent residence area. The amount may be released to the nominee or claimant after hearing, and unclaimed amounts after seven years are to be dealt with as directed by the Central Government.
