Delegation of powers under the Code on Social Security permits conditional transfer of government functions to designated bodies and subordinate officers.

The appropriate Government may, by notification, direct that all or any of its powers and functions be exercisable also by designated public bodies or by officers or authorities subordinate to those bodies in relation to specified matters and subject to such conditions as the notification may prescribe, enabling conditional transfer of administrative authority within the social security framework.
