Protection for governments and social security bodies from legal proceedings when acting in good faith under the social security code.

Section 147 bars suits, prosecutions and other legal proceedings against the Central Government, State Governments, Social Security Organisations, competent authorities, their officers and staff, and any other person or authority discharging functions or exercising powers under the Code, for anything done or intended to be done in pursuance of the Code or its rules, regulations or schemes, where such action is in good faith.
