Stock broker and clearing member fees must be collected by exchanges and remitted monthly to the regulator with required reporting. Regulation 42 requires recognised stock and commodity derivatives exchanges to collect fees under regulation 41 from brokers, clearing members and self clearing members per their bye laws for cash, non cash and off market transactions; collected fees for a calendar month must be remitted to the Board by the fifth working day of the following month, and exchanges must maintain registers and furnish specified returns and any additional information or explanations the Board may require.
