of <h1>IFSCA inspections of Global In-house Centre units u/reg 18: appointing authorities to review books, systems, and infrastructure</h1> Regulation 18 authorises IFSCA to initiate inspections of a Global In-house Centre (GIC) Unit either suo motu or on receipt of information or a complaint. It empowers IFSCA to appoint one or more persons as the Inspecting Authority to inspect the GIC Unit's books of account, records, documents, infrastructure, procedures and systems, with the operative effect of enabling regulatory verification of compliance and operational adequacy through formal inspection of specified materials and processes.
