Registration of Global In House Centre units requires in principle approval, compliance within 180 days, and notification of material changes. Regulation 7 provides that the Authority may grant in principle approval subject to conditions, requiring applicants to fulfil those conditions within 180 days (or any extension specified) and to apply for extensions in prescribed form. Upon satisfaction of conditions, the Authority may issue a certificate of registration subject to conditions; the certificate remains valid unless suspended, cancelled, or voluntarily surrendered with Authority acceptance. GIC Units must immediately notify the Authority of any material changes affecting their registration.
