Trustees must inspect and supervise InvIT assets, ensure regulatory compliance and reporting (including confirmations on unit transactions, unitholder lists, shareholding and leverage confirmations, due diligence and net worth certificates), verify distributions comply with regulations and the trust deed, take remedial action and notify unitholders and the Board on regulatory breaches, hold meetings with investment manager leadership, review operational and compliance reports, maintain comprehensive records, enforce conflict-of-interest safeguards and a code of conduct, custody trust funds, review the manager's net worth periodically, and perform general and specific due diligence including audit and secretarial compliance reviews.
