          <h1>Stock Exchanges Can Operate Data Centres for Risk Verification with Board Approval Under Regulation 38B.</h1> Regulation 38B of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018, allows a recognized stock exchange to conduct activities of a Past Risk and Return Verification Agency Data Centre. This is in accordance with sub-regulation (2) of Regulation 12A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Credit Rating Agencies) Regulations, 1999. Such activities require approval from the Board and must adhere to terms and conditions specified by the Board. This provision was inserted as per notification dated March 20, 2025.
