Amendment to section 279 inserts section 276DD into subsection (1), operative retrospectively from 1 April 1984. Insertion of section 276DD into the list of provisions in section 279(1) by adding it after 'section 276D', with the insertion deemed effective retrospectively from 1 April 1984, thereby expanding the statutory cross references in that subsection.
