of <h1>Income-tax Act Section 245M updated by 1984 amendment; new phrase added, effective October 1, 1984.</h1> Section 245M of the Income-tax Act, 1961, is amended by the Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 1984. The amendment inserts the phrase 'before the 1st day of October, 1984' into sub-section (1) after the words 'on withdrawing such appeal from the Appellate Tribunal.' This change is effective from October 1, 1984.
