Reallocation of settlement authority to Interim Board makes section 127G provisions apply mutatis mutandis operationally. The amendment provides that, on and from the stated commencement date, the functions of the Settlement Commission under section 127G of the Customs Act shall be performed by the Interim Board and that the provisions of section 127G shall mutatis mutandis apply to the Interim Board as they apply to the Settlement Commission.
