of <h1>Customs Act Section 127G amendment: Settlement Commission functions shift to Interim Board effective April 1, 2025.</h1> Section 127G of the Customs Act is amended to include a new proviso effective April 1, 2025. This amendment stipulates that the functions previously carried out by the Settlement Commission under this section will be transferred to the Interim Board. The provisions applicable to the Settlement Commission will apply to the Interim Board in the same manner.
