Return of uncollected articles: authorises delivery via an authorised passenger or as cargo consigned in the passenger's name. The amendment allows an article not collected by a passenger at the time of departure to be returned to that passenger either through any other passenger authorised by him who is also leaving India or as cargo consigned in his name, thereby authorising third party delivery and cargo consignment as alternatives to immediate personal collection on leaving.
