        Omission of Article 228 A permits pending cases to be treated as if the provision had been omitted from earlier date. The Constitution (43rd Amendment) Act, 1977 omits Article 228-A and provides that any case pending before a High Court immediately before commencement may be dealt with as if Article 228-A had been omitted with effect from 1 February 1977.
