of <h1>Finance Act 1965: Tariff Act Amended, Duty Rates Updated for Items 30, 31, 44, 46(3), 47(2), 63(10), 63(20A)</h1> The Third Schedule of the Finance Act, 1965, amends the First Schedule to the Tariff Act by altering various duty rates. Item No. 30 sees figures changed from '60' and '50' to '75' and '65'. Items Nos. 31, 31(2), 31(3), and 31(5) now have '100 per cent. ad valorem' in the fourth column. Item No. 31(1) figures change from '75' and '65' to '100' and '90'. Item No. 44 changes '50' to '75', and Item No. 46(3) changes '26' to '50'. Item No. 47(2) now states 'Rs. 10.25 per kilogram or 75 per cent, ad valorem, whichever is higher'. Item No. 63(10) has new entries of 'Rs. 305 00 per tonne' and 'Rs. 325 00 per tonne'. Item No. 63(20A) changes '30' to '100'. Additionally, a new item, '28B Sodium hydrosulphite', is inserted with preferential revenue rates.
