Amendment to Section 18: exclusion of interest under section 280D for annuity deposits from interest payable to Government. The amendment inserts wording in clause (i) of subsection (1) of Section 18 to exclude interest payable under section 280D in respect of annuity deposits made under Chapter XXIIA from the reference to interest payable to the Government.
