Service conditions secure government-equivalent leave, allowances, accommodation, medical, provident fund and pension arrangements for commission staff. Conditions of service align leave, joining time, age of superannuation, travel allowances and leave travel concession with corresponding Central Government rules; general pool accommodation is available until a Commission complex is built, and House Rent Allowance is payable where accommodation is not allotted. Medical facilities are provided as per Schedule-II. Deputationists remain under their parent Ministry's provident fund, group insurance and pension schemes while the Commission must recover and immediately remit contributions and bear any loss of interest from late remittance; non-deputation staff are governed by the New Pension Scheme.
