          <h1>Rule 9 amended: Chairperson and Members now receive Leave Travel Concession at Secretary-level rates.</h1> Rule 9 of the CCI (Salary, Allowances, and Other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and Other Members) Rules, 2003, grants the Chairperson and Members of the Commission entitlement to Leave Travel Concession (LTC) at the same rates as prescribed for the Secretary to the Government of India. This provision was amended by notifications in 2009, updating the applicable rates from those for officers holding Group 'A' posts and officers in Apex Grade, to align with the rates for the Secretary to the Government of India.
