of <h1>Regulation 31 of CCI Combination Regulations 2011 Omitted; No More Notice Filing Required for Certain Mergers and Acquisitions</h1> Regulation 31 of the CCI (Procedure In Regard To The Transaction Of Business Relating To Combinations) Regulations, 2011, which required the filing of a notice under sub-section (2) of section 6 of the Act, has been omitted as of January 7, 2016. Previously, this regulation mandated that notices be filed for mergers or amalgamations approved by the board of directors after June 1, 2011, and for acquisitions or control acquisitions where binding documents were executed after the same date. The board's approval referred to its final decision.
